NSC at MWC: Join Us for Our Member Meeting in Las Vegas on Sept. 27

NSC will be hosting its annual Member Meeting at MWC Las Vegas on Wednesday, September 27, 2023 from 2 – 6 p.m. with a reception to follow. This is the second day of the three-day MWC Conference, and as a benefit of NSC membership, all attendees to our meeting will also receive a complementary exhibit and keynote (“Discovery”) registration to the full MWC event. We have also negotiated discounted full access (“Leader”) passes to the MWC event for members as well.

While the agenda is still under development, speakers will include:

• Tom Rondeau, Principal Director – FutureG, from the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, will provide insights into the Department’s ongoing 5G/6G research activities and upcoming plans. Dr. Rondeau will share his vision on key topics such as Open RAN, Security & Privacy in the Age of 6G, Dynamic Spectrum Management (DSM), and the urgent need for enhancements in Software Defined Radios and Networking.
• Joshua Weaver, Director, Spectrum Initiatives & Analysis from the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering, discussing opportunities and challenges in domestic spectrum operations, spectrum sharing, and creating an automated spectrum management ecosystem.
• A fireside chat with Vernita Harris, Director, Electromagnetic Spectrum Enterprise Policy & Programs, Department of Defense Chief Information Officer, discussing the first-of-its-kind industry and government collaboration (NSC’s PATHSS) exploring sharing solutions for the lower 3GHz.
• Other government and agency leaders, NSC leadership, and ExCom.

HOW TO REGISTER:

If you’re interested in joining us, please fill out this form by July 17. Attendance is free for NSC members. At this time, we are limiting free passes to 2 per company or organization. However, others from your organization may still purchase passes for the meeting and conference and more information on how can be found here. NSC members will also have the opportunity to get a discount on an upgrade to Leader passes to attend the full suite of MWC programming. More details on upgrades will be available after you register at the link above.

Later this summer, you will receive an email from GSMA with further information for completing your registration and options for access to all MWC programming.

HOW TO EXHIBIT:

In addition to our Member Meeting programming, NSC will also have a designated area (upper right corner on the Ground Floor level of this map) of the MWC exhibit hall floor. If you’re interested in exhibiting in the NSC neighborhood – even if your company has other exhibit hall space – please fill out this same form. Special NSC pricing may be available to members exhibiting in the NSC neighborhood. Pricing for the space starts at $6,944. NSC is also planning to subsidize the cost of a “Start Up Pod” exhibit hall space for up to 10 small/non-traditional members; if your organization falls into this category, please note this on the form and we will be in touch with you directly. GSMA will be in contact with more details about exhibiting, including booth specs and timelines, later in the summer.
